Tailor-Made Health Optimisation Programme

Pricing on enquiry (premium)

Launched March 2025. An AI-assisted programme design tool that ingests the full SHA diagnostic dataset — bloodwork, biomarkers, health history, and stated goals — and generates a personalised programme from the SHA treatment library rather than a pre-built template. The AI layer is a planning tool; treatment delivery remains human. SHA's most explicit acknowledgement that algorithmic personalisation is becoming a market differentiator in the category.

Summary & comparison to The Long Week. SHA Healthy Ageing is our most direct price comparison in the competitive set. The programme structure — seven nights residential, all-inclusive, physician-led intake, full biomarker panel, daily treatments, Mediterranean therapeutic cuisine, written take-home protocol — is very closely analogous to The Long Week. The price is approximately double: £10,000 (SHA) versus £4,995 (us). The clinical foundation differs: SHA's is macrobiotic-nutritional and conventionally diagnostic; ours is Ayurvedic-constitutional and combines Prakriti-based personal assessment with modern Medilab bloodwork. For a guest considering SHA for the "programme in a beautiful setting" category, we are the nearest lower-cost alternative with comparable clinical structure — and for UK-based guests, we are a one-hour rather than four-hour travel commitment.

Inspiration for The Long Hotel. Three SHA elements worth borrowing. First, the full-day diagnostic process on day one framed as part of the experience rather than a clinical inconvenience — bloodwork plus posture, dental, body composition, and consultation as a deliberate "full mapping day" before the programme begins. We could position our day one similarly: a structured "Day of Reading" rather than a back-to-back of admin. Second, the signature named treatment (the SHA Signature Healing Massage) that is uniquely theirs and becomes a marketing anchor. We need a named, copyrighted Long Hotel signature treatment — not just "Abhyanga" but something with our specific protocol and a memorable name that travels in press. Third, the five-year plan as the closing artefact — SHA frames the take-home document not as a stay summary but as a long-horizon health plan. We should reframe our take-home document the same way: not "what we did this week" but "your five-year plan, version one."
