Summary & comparison to The Long Week. MAYRLIFE is the boutique premium-Mayr — fewer guests, more time with the assigned physician, calmer atmosphere than larger Mayr operators. Structurally it is closely analogous to The Long Week (seven nights residential, doctor-led intake, daily clinical treatment, advanced diagnostics, take-home protocol). The philosophical split is the same as with Lanserhof and VIVAMAYR: Mayr versus Ayurvedic, restriction versus abundance, alpine-lake versus British-coastal. Our £4,995 is approximately 50% of MAYRLIFE's entry. For a UK guest, Jersey is one hour's flight versus 3h30 to Altaussee (typically Salzburg airport plus a 1h30 drive through the Salzkammergut).

Inspiration for The Long Hotel. Three MAYRLIFE elements worth borrowing. First, the boutique scale as a positioning asset. ~65 rooms is small enough that the physician genuinely knows each guest by day three; that intimacy is itself a differentiator. The Long Hotel's eighteen spa rooms put us at boutique scale by definition — we should explicitly market the small-cohort intimacy as an advantage over larger competitors like SHA (93 suites) and Six Senses (116). Second, the three-month telemedicine follow-up as standard inclusion — turning the stay into the start of a longer relationship lifts return-booking rates and strengthens guest outcomes. We should formalise this for The Long Week and The Long View. Third, the specialist tracks layered onto the core programme — MAYRLIFE has a small set of named specialty extensions (longevity, women's health, immune, weight, stress) that turn one programme into many without operational complexity. We should design our own named specialty tracks (a women's hormonal track, a post-illness recovery track, a fertility-prep track) layered onto The Long Week and The Long View to widen our addressable demographic.
