Clinique La Prairie.

The oldest and most expensive name in European longevity medicine. Founded 1931 on the shores of Lake Geneva, built around proprietary cellular therapy. A reference point at the very top of the category.

Programmes offered.

CLP structures its offer around named week-long programmes, all delivered within the same clinical infrastructure. Duration is fixed at seven nights for all flagship programmes; some have extended variants.

Flagship · 7 nights

Classic Revitalisation

From ~£28,000 all-in

The anchor programme and the one CLP is most famous for. Built around the patented CLP Extract cellular therapy — subcutaneous injections of a proprietary biological preparation derived from Swiss sheep foetal cells, though the modern formulation uses plant-stem-cell analogues. Paired with a full medical diagnostic battery, personalised physician plan, and a treatment schedule across the week.

Ultra-premium · 7 nights

Revitalisation Premium

From ~£45,000 programme-only

The expanded tier of the Classic, with higher-dose cellular therapy, more intensive diagnostics including full genomic panel, additional specialist consultations, and private suite accommodation in Le Château. Accommodation is priced separately on top.

7 nights

Master Detox

From ~£22,000 all-in

A gut and metabolic reset programme focused on eliminating toxins, resetting digestive function, and restoring liver health. Combines therapeutic fasting protocols, colonic hydrotherapy, hepatic drainage treatments, and dietary recalibration alongside standard CLP diagnostics.

7 nights

Better Aging

From ~£24,000 all-in

A longevity-focused programme for guests who want the anti-ageing diagnostic depth without the cellular therapy component. Covers epigenetic age testing, telomere assessment, advanced cardiovascular profiling, and a personalised supplementation and lifestyle protocol. Often combined with aesthetics treatments.

7 nights

Stress Reset

From ~£20,000 all-in

Targeted at burnout and high-cortisol profiles. HRV monitoring, adrenal function testing, neurofeedback sessions, sleep diagnostics, and psychotherapy alongside restorative bodywork and the CLP spa circuit. The programme with the shortest wait list of the main tier.

7 nights

Sleep Regeneration

From ~£21,000 all-in

Sleep architecture analysis using in-room polysomnography, sleep physician consultation, chronobiology-informed light and temperature protocol, melatonin and supplement review, and behavioural intervention. Positioned as a standalone programme or combined with Revitalisation.

Summary & comparison to The Long Week. CLP and The Long Week share the structural model — seven nights residential, all-inclusive billing, doctor-led intake, diagnostic bloodwork, structured treatments, written take-home protocol. The differences are price (£28,000 versus £4,995), clinical register (CLP cellular therapy versus Ayurvedic clinical contact with Dr Prasanna Kerur), and atmosphere (Swiss medical institution in the hotel-luxury register versus British coastal hotel in the structured-clinic register). A Long Week guest who wants to step up to the cellular therapy tier finds CLP a natural upgrade; a CLP guest for whom £28,000 is a stretch has a natural entry point with us.

Inspiration for The Long Hotel. Three CLP elements worth borrowing. First, the pre-arrival telemedicine consultation — they tailor the programme before the guest lands, compressing the assessment day so day one starts delivering value. We could mirror this with a 30-minute pre-arrival video consult with the assigned physician, especially for The Long Week and The Long View. Second, the named-physician model — one assigned doctor across the entire stay rather than being passed between specialists. We already do this with Dr Kerur; we should make it more explicit in our marketing copy. Third, the deliberate day-seven taper — the lighter closing day with formal protocol handover creates a memorable ending ritual that prevents the take-home moment feeling rushed. We should design an analogous day-seven structure into the Long Week.
